Looking at the map of the United States, it is seen that mental health dominates the search queries, but it is pretty evenly split in most states. With a closer look at just the Bay Area, it is clear that social media and mental health are both evident. Trends shows that social media is searched more in the South Bay, while mental health is searched more in the East Bay. All in all, there is a definite correlation between social media and mental health that can be further explored with more research.
